چکیده
Feelings significantly affect organizations in a variety of circumstances and areas. Many major events that people cannot be discussed without an understanding the essential roles feelings. In addition, work-related feelings can substantially employees’ health, well-being, productivity, performance. The purposes this research were (1) to validate affective (WORAF) questionnaire Arabic respondents, (2) examine relationships among four WORAF: happiness, anxiety, anger, dejection, (3) compare model results with those Turkish respondents participating previous study. A survey following components was conducted: (4) dejection. paper-based completed by 332 workers from various companies Saudi Arabia. key developed partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM). According findings, workplace dejection anger considerably affected anxiety. Similarly, anxiety perceived happiness. comparison indicated similar between respondents.

An Introduction to Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) and the Partial Least Squares (PLS) Methodology
Over the past 15 years, the use of Partial Least Squares (PLS) in academic research has enjoyed increasing popularity in many social sciences including Information Systems, marketing, and organizational behavior. PLS can be considered an alternative to covariance-based SEM and has greater flexibility in handling various modeling problems in situations where it is difficult to meet the hard assu...
متن کاملStructural Equation Modeling (SEM) Using SmartPLS Software: Analyzing Path Models Using Partial Least Squares (PLS) Based SEM
This ‘hands-on’ workshop will demonstrate how to obtain and use sophisticated, but (currently) free, visual software for assessing the measurement and structural model characteristics of path-based SEM quantitative models using a partial least squares (PLS) approach. The workshop will be presented as a teaching aid for faculty, doctoral students, and for other researchers who are engaged in SEM...

Number of latents The same number of factors will be extracted for PLS responses as for PLS factors. The researcher must specify how many latents to extract (in SPSS the default is 5). There is no one criterion for deciding how many latents to employ. Common alternatives are: 1. Cross-validating the model with increasing numbers of factors, then choosing the number with minimum prediction error...
متن کاملPartial Least Squares (PLS) Regression
Pls regression is a recent technique that generalizes and combines features from principal component analysis and multiple regression. It is particularly useful when we need to predict a set of dependent variables from a (very) large set of independent variables (i.e., predictors). It originated in the social sciences (specifically economy, Herman Wold 1966) but became popular first in chemomet...
متن کاملNonlinear Structural Equation Modeling: Is Partial Least Squares an Alternative?
Nonlinear structural equation modeling provides many advantages over analyses based on manifest variables only. Several approaches for the analysis of latent interaction effects have been developed within the last 15 years, including the partial least squares product indicator approach (PLS-PI), the constrained product indicator approach using the LISREL software (LISREL-PI), and the distributi...
